Watercolor Image: 24x22 Framed 31 ½ x 30. My latest series of Peacocks using webbing and concentrated watercolor pigments as an underpainting. The cascading train of feathers on this male peacock was difficult but worthwhile painting. Adding some iridescent watercolors made the eyes pop. My interest in Peacocks has peaked since seeing them fly across the sky into trees at night. They are very shy when you attempt to photograph them though. I thought I was seeing a dragon flying – wish I could see this male with his long train flying – maybe another painting. The eyes of the train are said to hold some magic
