We enjoy taking out of town friends to the Rose Garden in Washington Park. We all were photographing so many beautiful roses which were gleaming with the morning sun after a sprinkle the night before. My favorite rose, which I call the “Gratitude Rose” is just below the entrance steps. It captures the eye with the yellows, oranges, pinks and reds in the petals–just like a watercolor.
