14 x 21 Image on Watercolor Paper (300 LB). Transparent watercolor of one of my favorite moments during the 2016 Tour de France captured by my camera. I believe it has never happened that the Yellow Jersey and Green Jersey leaders decide to breakaway from the Peleton with 12K to the finish line. Sagan managed to win Stage 11 with the Peleton breathing down their necks. It was a great sprint to the finish line and Peter Sagan outsprinted Froome barely to win the stage. Froome retained his yellow jersey. Each had a teammate to support their effortGeraint Thomas from Team Sky and Maciej Bodner from Tinkoff. Maciej finished 3rd and is seen on the left in the painting. Accepted as 1 of 80 paintings in the WSO Spring Exhibition starting April 7th at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art on the UO campus and will be for sale at that time.
